St. Maroun

Celebrating the 1,600^th anniversary of the passing of Saint Maroun who was born in the year 423 in Kefar-Nabo, Ol-Yambos, Syria. He has many followers in Lebanon, Syria, Cyprus and other parts of the world, who belong to the Maronite Church which is an Eastern Church that remained in communion with the Bishop of Rome.

The Maronite Church has a great deal of history in Kaftoun and the neighboring areas.
