Obituary - Gabriel Daher

DAHER, Gabriel J. Of Roslindale (Boston), Massachusetts, USA. Passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 after a brief illness at the age of 98. Gabriel was the husband of the late Dolores Daher, and brother of the late Michael Daher of Lebanon and the late Matilda (Daher) Saba of Boston and Braintree, Massachusetts. He was the son of Yacoub Joseph Daher and Nasta Shaheen, both from Lebanon. He was the beloved father of Diane (Daher) Kelsch of Quincy, Gabriel J. Daher, Jr. of Pembroke, James M. Daher of Connecticut. Grandfather of Gabriel J. Daher III, Megan R. (Daher) Ventresca, Mattheu P. Kelsch, and Rebecca A. Kelsch. Also survived by three great-grandchildren. Born in Kaftoun, Lebanon in 1911, Gabriel was resident of Boston for 83 years, residing at his home in Roslindale for the past 60 years.
